REMINISCING OUR CHILDHOOD MEMORIES.

Childhood is the best part of life. You get to experience and see the innosence of the world. In this chapter of our lives, there weren't too many problems that we're facing. We were just in the park with friends, filled with laughter and happiness. So now, we celebrate children's month to help children feel special and for the adults to remenisce their childhood memories. This is the perfect time for kids of all ages to get together and take part in a wide range of different type of activities so that they can bond and take a break from the pressures of adolesence. The importance or essence of this celebration is to educate people the importance of a healthy childhood. This is also the time to help raise awareness for the need to protecy the rights of children so that they can become healthy and happy adults.

YES TO EQUAL RIGHTS

Men and women should be treated equally. No human being should be degraded by someone. We should achieve all our dreams without being judged just because of our gender. In fact, we shouldn't use someone's sexuality to break him/her. We are all one, we should be together to raise equality and bring down discrimination. All people are entitled to equal human rights regardless of gender, race, religion, and nationality. Human rights are universal in nature, to mean that they are applicable in every part of the universe to everyone. No person should be denied their rights. The right to live, right to basic needs, right to education, and right to be who they really are. All human deserve rights since we are similar in all aspects. Men and women are entitled to freedome from torture and violence. We should stop degrading women. We should stop the streotypes to men. Therefore, human rights should be upheld at all times irrespective of gender.

But nevertheless, as I was saying, this is the most awaited season by everyone. Everyone gets to receive and send gifts to their special someone, family, and friends. Spread the love around the world. Because love symbolizes Jesus Christ. Christmas is the great joyful festival of the Christianity. This is the perfect time to celebrate the love of God and Family and to create memories that will last forever. Jesus is God's perfect indescribable gift. The amazing thing is that not only we are able to receive gift, but we can shared it with others on this day and every other day of the year. Everywhere looks beautiful on this day. THE RIGHT USE OF GADGETS IN YOUR LIFE

Every month of NOvermber, Ilocos Sur National High School celebrates Values Month led by the EsP department. The EsP teachers and officers are  one in leading the said celebration. The theme for the year's celebration is, "MAPANURING PAGGAMIT NG GADGET: tungo sa mapagkalingang ugnayan sa pamilya at kapwa" The theme talks about the right use of gadgets in our lives. The people, especially teen agers with gadgets are responsible in everything they do with it. Whether it is a phone, laptop, or tablet. Gadgets are really helpful in our daily lives. We can communicate to someone far away from us easily! We can look up the meaning of a world easily through the use of internet without scanning the dictionary book! We can find information about a certain thing easily! Using gadgets for communication is a lot easier than sending letters through mail. But we should be aware that we are responsible in every message we send. Think before you click. Use gadgets in good purposes

Science is everything: Everything is science

We all know that everything in this world is connected to science. Humans, animals, machines, and  technologies. In ISNHS, we celebra science month by conducting sci- quizes, contests, and seminars. It is to help students to enhance their thinking abilities and hidden skills  and talents related to science. This subject is one  of the most frustrating subject because of its different branches: chemistry, physics, biology, astronomy, and  earth science. But it is still one of the most important thing we jeed to appreciate and learn. Science deals with everything. We need to celebrate this inorder to widen our knowledge about this subject.

Resiliency of Filipinos to Disasters as the Country's Fame.

Image
Philippines is prone to disasters like typhoon, earthquakes, and volcanic eruption. Philippines experiences these disasters because of its location. It is along the pacific ring of fire where active volcanoes can be seen. Philippines is also near the pacific ocean where most of the typhoons are originated. Because of these disasters we experience almost everyday, the resiliency of Filipinos to disasters can now be considered as the country's fame. Filipinos are tested by countless disasters. Some of them experienced losing their loved ones, properties, and something/someone important to their lives. Thousand people died in hunger during disasters. Some lost their husband, wife, their home, and innocent children, even their wealth. But as a Filipimo, no matter what kind of disasters we experienced, we still manage making ourlives happy. We can still smile, laugh, and move on. Because Filipinos never give up. The courage and hope make us survive. Filipinos will get up, may cry/

REFLECTION

During the first quarter, I learned alot of things especially about the internet. The parts and types of it. I learned how intelligent the internet is. It consists many knowledge about almost everything. What you get from books can also be seen in the internet too which is less hassle and easy to find. I also learned about blogging and got really interested to try vlogging. Blogging can help students in many different ways. Like it can help you enhance your writing, photographic, and videographic skills. It also gives many oppurtunities to us, students, to write/express our ideas about something. The challenges I encountered was, I lacked in inspiration in writing my articles. Writing can be really hard especially if you  are not inspired or if you do not know the subject. Because of that, i always convince myself now that I can do it and that I will end it properly. Moving on, I will apply what I learned this quarter in my daily life. I will study harder for me to get good grade

Wikang Filipino, gamitin mo tungo sa pagbabago.

Image

HIGHLIGHTS OF SONA 2018

President Duterte, known for always going off from prepared speeches, kept mostly to his script and the first time he remained calm on his 3rd State Of the Nation Address that lasted 48 minutes. A sudden change in House leadership, a renewed defense of economic legistation were among the highlights of President Rodrigo Duterte's 3rd SONA. GMA took her oath as new House Speaker while Alvarez was busy welcoming the President. Duterte did not mention the sudden change in house leadership so confusion happened. Duterte also talked about how war on againts illegal drugs is far from over. "Your concern is human right, mine is human lives." he qouted. Duterte mentioned the non stop crimes that may affect the present and future generation. LETTER TO PRESIDENT

July 9, 2018 Dear Mr. President, Greetings to you President from a normal high school student in Ilocos Sur National High School. You must be really tired right now. being a president of such a big country must be really stressful to you. I heard some news that you're sick, that your hair got thinner. But there you are, working all the hours that God sent to make a better nation for us. Some people may not like you. They may say negative things about how you work, your attitude, and how different you are to the previous presidents of the Philippines. Yes, you are truly different and definitely better than them. You think about more peaceful and prosperous country, declaring some laws that is big help for us. WHY DO WE CELEBRATE INDEPENDENCE DAY?

Philippines have been colonized by Spaniards, American, and Japanese. Filipinos experienced slavery. Puppets of the invaders. They didn't have freedom a hundred years ago. But, because of devotion and commitment, they might have been feared, but they fought for our country and finally, on June 12 1898, independence was declared. We celebrate Independence day to remind us the struggles of Filipinos just to free our country. it is during this day that the entire country remembers the courage, and sacrifices of our ancestors. the bravery of our fellowmen and determination is something our current generation should be proud of. With our freedom to speak, express, choose, love, and act freely today, let us not forget the struggles of our ancestors under the hands of the invader. we owe them all to the Filipinos who fought for our country. credits: https://www.timeanddate.com/holidays/philippines/independence-day?hc_location=ufi
